Biography

Christopher Ness and his team assist clients with all Corporate, Business and Real Estate matters, including buying and selling businesses, incorporations and other business organizations, corporate reorganizations, commercial lending and borrowing, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and commercial leasing. Chris has extensive experience working with individual, business and corporate clients throughout the Lower Mainland.

Chris joined Kane Shannon Weiler LLP in April, 2021 in its Surrey office. Chris’ primary areas of practice are corporate and business law and real estate law.

Chris grew up in Vancouver, and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Juris Doctor in 2011. Before becoming a lawyer, Chris had a career in hotel management with leading and luxury hotels.

Throughout the years, Chris has frequently volunteered with the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and at BC Children’s Hospital with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with Emily, his Bernese Mountain Dog that he adopted from the BC SPCA, and her friends.
