About
BIOGRAPHY
Katie Matthews joins the firm after graduating from Thompson Rivers University. She brings experiences from participating in the BC Court of Appeal Moot and TRU’s Community Legal Clinic. She also served as the program coordinator of Pro Bono Students Canada – TRU Chapter. Katie held research assistant positions where she was a part of developing and delivering a public legal education workshop focused on non-profit and charity compliance rules in Canada in addition to contributing to research on student client programs in BC. She was the recipient of the Law Foundation Public Interest Award.
In her spare time, Katie can be found playing restaurant critic and challenging people to games of one-on-one basketball. Her love of sport stems from her time playing university volleyball at Thompson Rivers University during her undergraduate degree.
